Before joining the Federal Defenders in 2019, Eunice Lee worked for many years as a supervising attorney at the Office of the Appellate Defender. During that time, she represented numerous indigent clients on direct appeal and in post-conviction proceedings at all levels of the New York State court system, as well as in federal habeas corpus petitions. While serving as an adjunct assistant professor at New York University School of Law, she also co-designed and taught the Criminal Appellate Defender Clinic.

Ms. Lee is a graduate of the Ohio State University and Yale Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Susan J. Dlott of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the Honorable Eric L. Clay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
