Matt Larsen has been a public defender since 2010, litigating cases at trial, on appeal, before en banc courts of appeals, and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He’s also represented clients in post-conviction proceedings under 28 U.S.C. §§ 2254 and 2255, and in motions for sentence reductions pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3582. A New York City native, Matt is a graduate of Wesleyan University and N.Y.U. School of Law, and has clerked for judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.N. International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
