Federal Defenders Announces New Directors of Strategic Litigation

Federal Defenders is pleased to announce that Amanda David (EDNY) and Jennifer Willis (SDNY) have been promoted to Directors of Strategic Litigation. Ms. David and Ms. Willis will be in charge of developing and assisting with anti-racism litigation efforts on various fronts. They will be organizing trainings both within the Federal Defenders and in the larger community. They will also coordinate research and legal filings addressing issues of race and equality. These new positions will allow Federal Defenders to better serve the needs of our clients by addressing systemic racism in the courthouse, the community and the office.
